Janet & Charlie’s Meeting Place

Janet and Charlie, co-owners of the Wandering Tavern have rich and diverse backgrounds , at times worlds apart. What brings them together is their experience and passion for serving world class food. They also both agree that creating a warm and friendly place for their customers to meet is a top priority. This can be spotted in the small things they do and the welcoming feel of the tavern.

With a tapestry of experience working along the food chain in farming, horticulture, agriculture and in a deli with her mom and nanna, Janet brings a wealth of warmth knowledge and understanding of family life, regional food and growing up in the country.

Charlie, a huge food lover spent her youth in the suburbs of Sydney and school holidays on her aunt and uncle’s farm. Her strong work ethic blossomed from the countless hours helping her family in their busy bakery business. Charlie has a creative flair for food that brings fresh ideas to the menu while also cooking up top class pub dishes too. Her personality is reflected in the food she creates.
